			PAAC Mission
			Established in 1987, the Pilipino American Alumni Chapter (PAAC) of the California Alumni Association (CAA) serves the Filipino American alumni of UC Berkeley and its extended community. Active Filipino American alumni at UC Berkeley number over 5000 worldwide dating back to the 1960s. PAAC's strong alumni base makes up one of the strongest Filipino American networks in the country. Our membership is heterogeneous in ideas and opinions. PAAC embraces the diversity of our members. Embracing our common heritage unites our members, and that is why PAAC continues its mission to serve the community today. As an alumni member, PAAC provides you an opportunity for professional mentorship, continued personal and professional growth, and an established network of the greater Cal community.
